New Fall Classes

It all begins with an idea.

Hi ya’ll!
I cannot wait to start the Fall Semester with you and your kiddos! This Fall we’ll be operating mostly Zoom classes (that means your friends all over the US can join) but hoping to get to Central Park soon for socially distanced classes too.

Never participated on Zoom? Don’t think it will hold your child’s attention?

I totally understand people’s concerns about Zoom. I had the same ones myself when beginning Zoom classes, but I have to tell you, I work VERY hard on my side of the screen to keep the children engaged and interested! You might be shocked at your child’s participation, and your participation as well should you be interested in Zooming with me too! I obviously prefer to see the kids in person, but seeing their infectious smiling faces on that screen is a blessing! As a mother of a toddler, it’s a big ask for our children to stay put in front of a screen and do every single movement, and sing every single song, BUT even if your child finds themselves wandering away, building blocks, playing with dolls or trucks, they are still hearing the music, and the music is still opening up that creative space in their brain. I’m always amazed at how much they are truly taking in. They are quite exceptional little humans. So, as my daughter Hazel would say “just try!”
